Managing access across an occupied residential and commercial development required replacing legacy infrastructure with a unified architecture — one that could support both physical access cards and mobile credentials within an active mixed-use environment.
The implementation utilised enterprise-grade Suprema hardware integrated into a centralised management platform:
Execution required managing logistics and civil works across a large multi-building footprint spanning townhouses and high-rise towers across Porto Arabia, Qanat Quartier, Viva Bahriya and Medina Centrale. Configurations were adapted for automatic slide doors, traditional wooden frames and internal elevator cabs.
In total, field deployment encompassed 815 access readers, 90 elevator modules and 80 ANPR cameras, supported by 75,000 metres of new cable infrastructure.
Techspine implemented and commissioned a large-scale enterprise access control environment at The Pearl Island, including 815 access readers, 90 elevator modules and 80 ANPR cameras.
The project utilised Suprema XPass 2 (XP2-MDPB) readers, Suprema OM-120 Lift I/O elevator modules, and the ACCESS 360 centralised management platform.
